The Nanostructured Interfaces and Materials Science Group hosts or has access to world-class facilities for the synthesis and characterisation of thin films and particle systems, as well as full PC2 (biological) labs for cell culture, bacteria, DNA/RNA work and similar. Many of the more advanced facilities are made available to the broader research community through platforms such as the Materials Characterisation and Fabrication Platform, the Melbourne Advanced Microscopy Facility, and the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication.
